Born in Florence in 1958, he lives and works in Florence. After scientific studies in high school, he follows the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence and the DAMS in Bologna. In 1979 participates in the first exhibition "The alternatives of the new" at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome work on shadows and light, materials that will characterize the work over time. In 1993 he moved to Cologne in Germany where he worked for five years , creating the first large solar installation "Augenblick" (Time) at the Parkplatz the "Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger". In 1997 he made second installation for the collection of Villa Celle and two years after participating in group exhibitions "Arcadia in Celle -Gori Collection "in museums in Kamakura, Mie and Sapporo. In 2000 he opened his first solo exhibition in Japan at the Gallery Mssohkan Kobe, to be followed by many others including in 2001 a solo exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, an installation Public large in Kobe and a solo exhibition at the Yokohama Portside Gallery. In 2005, at a personal, install a work in artificial light outside with the words "in Micat summit" beginning the permanent collection at "The Villa Medici The Magic "Quarrata-Prato. In 2006 settles in Brussels in a public space in the district of Anderlecht the first major permanent installation outside in sunlight and artificial "Grande Volante III", in collaboration with the gallery Artiscope Brussels. In 2007 he created on the wall outside the skyscraper Sannomya Tower in the center of Kobe in Japan opera "Duet" in sunlight. In 2008, at the headquarters St.Angela in Bornheim-Hersel, between Cologne and Bonn, inaugurates permanent installation outside "Nochmal" (Still) to artificial light and solar. In April of 2012 inaugurated the exhibition "JETZT Archäologische Schatten" in Frankfurt am Main in conjunction with the Luminale 2012. In November 2012 solo exhibition "Rayon d'ombre" at Espace d'Art Contemporain André Malraux in Colmar, France. In January 2013 he participated in the "Cadavre Exquis" dedicated to the artists of the Mediterranean, as the representative artist 'Italy, in the Granet Museum in Aix-en-Provence, France.

Over the years he has given lectures and readings of their work pressol'Universitá of Architecture in Florence, the University of Art History in Siena, Kunstverein Graftschaft Neunhaus of Bentheim, the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, the Academy of Fine Arts Bologna, Florence and diMilano, the Politecnico di Milano. He currently lives and works in Florence.
